It’s something I’ve wanted ever since reading Dan Dare in the Eagle comic, a Skycar! Developed by Moller, it’s capable of vertical take-off, travels at 350mph and does 21 miles to a gallon of alcohol (which is a damn sight more than I can!). It’s still at prototype stage, despite the fact that development started in the 1960’s and is scheduled for its first flight later this year. Neiman Marcus have started advertising it now at the cool tune of $3,500,000 (which doesn’t include delivery!), this is for a prototype model, the main production is estimated to begin in 2008-2009. Get saving!
