Eva Solo Bird Table

Friday, July 29th, 2005

The bird tables I’ve come across in the past have always been thrown together. Now our feathered friends can feed in style with the unique Eva Solo bird table. Designed by Claus Jensen & Henrik Holbaek of Denmark, it features a squirrel proof stainless steel pole so the birds are left to feed in peace.

Deep Down Time

I’ve always been of the opinion the Rolex watch is for the ‘Del Boy’ entrepreneur type of character. This was until a friend purchased the latest Rolex Sea Dweller, this timepiece is quite frankly stunning with all the trademark finishing touches that one would expect from a £2500 watch. Can’t help but think that ‘Sea [...]

It’s a car Jim, but not as we know it

Those crazy Italians! This guy obviously has considerable talent with carpentry and what a way to utilise those skills! I quite like the idea of a wooden car but I suspect it wooden go (sorry)

The Green Goblin Lives!

Ever since I saw the Spiderman movie, I’ve wanted one of these. I’d even go so far as getting a superhero costume to finish the look (more effective than the shirt and tie look methinks)

Available from Hammacher Schlemmer for a mere $14999

Corkin’

Thursday, July 28th, 2005

I love these designs and the finished products look fantastic. Looks like cork could come back into the mainstream leaving its murky flooring background well and truly behind.
Because cork is 100% waterproof and impervious to rot and mold growth, this piece functions as well outdoors as it does in. And as we all know, [...]

Two Wheeled Freak!

Wednesday, July 27th, 2005

This is one of the hottest pieces of bicycle engineering around at the moment. It looks great, handles like a dream and is guaranteed to be the envy of all the London couriers that you would come across whilst cruising the capital (obviously while pulling tricks off the nearest grannies shopping trolley)

Available from Santa Cruz

Travelling in Style

Just the thing to get yourself a little kudos-boost whilst checking into the five star hotel for your holiday. Pass this rather stylish red on brown oxford weave shoulder trunk to the porter and don’t forget to tip when he’s lugged it to the room for you. Beware though, you have to back this up [...]

Hey DJ!

Friday, July 22nd, 2005

The world of iPod is about to take a jump forward with this nice piece of kit from Numark. Bedroom DJ’s can now mix directly from their little white boxes of music. As it’s not out yet, the price remains a little sketchy but the folks at engadget are saying around $399 (£299). Obviously this [...]

A remote control UFO…………too cool! It’s even available with optional lighting for those third encounter type of moments (although you will have to hum the tune)

Available in the UK from Firebox and developed by Silverlit
