My Foto Wall

I came across these guys who are offering a very cool service. You submit a photograph of your choice and they then print the image onto wallpaper for you, just enough to cover the required area. How good is that! The website is also pretty good if you’re into the odd flash animation, check the link below.

Katie Ulanov Rugs

January 17th, 2006

These stunning bright and vibrant arty rugs by Katie Ulanov are unique and very well designed. I’m a fan of anybody who recognises an opening in the market, Katie has managed to offer unusual designs that buck the trend for dull beige rugs that are found in a whole multitude of Swedish influanced interior furnishing stores. Brilliant!

Intel Mac’s

January 11th, 2006

Following Steve Jobs’ keynote yesterday, Apple have released images and specs of the much anticipated Intel based Apple laptops. They have created a whole new brand name for these, they will be released as ‘MacBooks’. The specifications are looking damn sexy, powered by an Intel Core Duo processor they will be available in 1.67 and 1.83GHz clock speeds. There’s enough room for up to 2GB ram (although it looks like the standard pricing will only include 512mb), dual-layer DVD burner, FireWire 400, two USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard/34, MagSafe power, 802.11g (AirPort Extreme), Bluetooth 2.0 EDR), gigabit Ethernet, backlit keyboard, Apple remote input, 15.4-inch 1440 x 900 display, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (128 or 256MB of ram, the choice is yours) and dual-link DVI for 30″ cinema displays, 80GB or 100GB hard drive, and built-in iSight and FrontRow.
All this and a fruit based logo to boot! Oh, they’ll also run windows!!!!!!

Other new releases include the new Intel iMac! See the spec above for the MacBook and add an optional 2GHz Core Duo Processor, 17 or 20″ display and a new software bundle including FrontRow.

What’s more is that they are up on the Apple website in all their glory!

Nearly as big as a plasma screen TV, Sharp’s latest model is a whopping 65″ Aquos Titanium LCD TV boasting a fantastic 6ms response time, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 176 degree viewing angle. This really is the dogs licking bits of a TV. Mind the price though before you order one, an also fantastic £12,000

(I don’t think you have to watch boats on it but check first!)
